Are you free on a Saturday morning and good and getting yourself out of bed?
Would you like to get involved with wonderful, family friendly, pay-what-you-can, eclectic, Saturday lunchtime mini gigs? Yes? Well then Daylight Music needs your help!
This relaxed but professionally run series of events is run entirely by a team of volunteers. They need people to help collect ticket donations, answer visitors’ questions, assist the performers, look after the merchandise stall and generally make sure everything runs smoothly.
The event starts at Saturday mornings 10am – 3pm, the show is 12noon – 2pm.
You’ll find yourself part of the friendly team lead by Daylight’s producer from Arctic Circle. There’s a little bit of clearing up afterwards. You don’t have to indulge in drinks and snacks as part of the job, but they will be available in the vicinity from the Margins café that runs during the show – mmm…
Are you interested in working with professional video production companies, Foliage Films, Huske Media and CineDigital to help capture the event? We’re looking to hear from camera operators, directors and editors who are interested in shooting and editing live music, looking to gain experience or looking to expand their network with some of Europe’s best upcoming artists.
Energy, enthusiasm and the ability to get out of bed early on a Saturday morning are more important than experience. We can also supply equipment, so this isn’t a barrier in learning.
Our experienced photography team are always looking to work with new photographers to document the event. Our senior photographers are more than happy to offer advice and guidance on how to shoot live music.
Are you interested in helping us grow and develop our social media presence? This could range from scheduling posts to planning and implementing marketing campaigns. If you’re interested in getting involved then get in touch!
