331: London Dreamtime presents The Snow Queen

22 February @ 12:00 am - 2:00 pm

London Dreamtime (Vanessa Woolf & George Hoyle) presents The Snow Queen

Defined by Time Out as ‘London’s resident storyteller’ and by Nest Collective as a ‘storytelling phenomenon’, Vanessa Woolf brings magical words and beautiful music to derelict houses, midnight forests, magical mirrors, freezing cellars, starry rooftops, and the strangest places in the city.

Taking full advantage of the spectacular gothic staging of the Union Chapel, Vanessa’s retelling of Hans Christian Anderson’s The Snow Queen will make use of the Chapel’s organ amongst other instrument to weave great storytelling, psych-folk, and vintage songs into a magical adventure that will delight people of all ages. The cast of performers for this tale will include long-time collaborator – musician, storyteller and folklorist George Hoyle, as well as guest musicians Oliver Parfitt and Sam Kelly.

Come and be part of this chilling 19th Century Fairy Tale brought to life, a battle of good versus evil that will warm your heart and soul this Saturday afternoon.

An event for all ages.  Pay-What-You-Can ticket on door (suggested ticket price £5).
